Off Script Travel Co was created for travellers who feel the pull for more — more depth, more meaning, more experiences that don’t fit neatly into a brochure.

It’s a space for real journeys, honest planning, and adventures that don’t always go to plan — because let’s be honest, that’s where the good stories live.

We believe travel isn’t about ticking off landmarks or racing from one place to the next. It’s about slowing down, following curiosity, and allowing space for the unexpected. It’s about changing the plan, taking the long way, and sometimes booking the flight even when the timing doesn’t feel “perfect.”

Richelle

Founder

Richelle is the founder of Off Script Travel Co, a travel platform created for people who want more from their adventures — more meaning, more connection, and more freedom to travel their own way.

Based in New Zealand, Richelle brings over 20 years of travel industry experience, backed by a Bachelor of Arts in Event Management and Tourism. She has travelled to 25 countries, from long, slow trips to quick weekend escapes, and believes every journey has value — no matter the length.

Through Off Script Travel Co, Richelle combines practical planning, honest insights, and personal storytelling to help others feel confident booking the trip, changing the plan, or simply dreaming bigger.

Freckles

Freckles is the official stay-at-home support pet for all Off Script adventures.

While the humans are off exploring new places, Freckles takes her role seriously — keeping the house safe, the couch warm, and maintaining a strict schedule for walks, meals, and cuddles. She specialises in emotional support, suitcase supervision, and being patiently (but dramatically) left behind.

Although she doesn’t travel, Freckles is very much part of the journey. She waits at home, tracks returns by instinct alone, and is always ready to welcome everyone back with unconditional loyalty and enthusiasm.

Every adventure needs a constant — and Freckles is it.
Loyal, loving, slightly spoiled, and always holding down the fort while the world is explored.
